By decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, R.N. Minnikhanov, in 2022, the V.V. Markovnikov International Prize for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Organic chemistry in 2022 was awarded to Valery N. Charushin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Chief Researcher of the I.Ya Postovsky Uralsky Institute of Organic Synthesis of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
