NEW REALITIES OF EURASIA: REGIONAL SOCIETIES IN CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZED TRANSFORMATIONS AND CIVILIZED CRISES

Kazan Institute of Eurasian and International Research would like to invite you to the VII Kazan Eurasian scientific forum «NEW REALITIES OF EURASIA: REGIONAL SOCIETIES IN CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZED TRANSFORMATIONS AND CIVILIZED CRISES», which will be held as an international scientific practical conference.

The Forum is going to take place on the  July 3-4, 2017.

In organizing and conducting the conference is attended by the Tatarstan Science Academy, Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Institute for the Culture of Peace (UNESCO) International Humanitarian Academy "Europe-Asia", the Russian Organization for Solidarity and Cooperation with the Peoples of Asia and Africa (National Office), the Society of Orientalists of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The goal of the VII Kazan Eurasian scientific forum is to scientifically and theoretically comprehend new Eurasian realities in context of regional social and national «individual» problems in conditions of globalized processes, crises and modern conflicts. It is suggested to unite the efforts of specialists in theoretical and applied studies to research aspects of regional particularities within the Eurasian continent as well as relations between the nations while trying to create an integrated Eurasian society.

Main problems of this forum consist of the following thematic blocks:

1. Global processes of world politics in conditions of regional particularities in Eurasia

2. The worsening geopolitical confrontation global forces around Ukraine

3. Integral tendencies and processes in the world and the regional areas

4. Integral potential of regions and sub regions of Eurasia

5. Regional «individual» problems and integral projects in Eurasia

6. Perceptions of regional self-identification in modern Eurasian areas

7. Experiences of regional identification and self-identification in Eurasia in XX-XXI centuries.

8. Conflicts in development of regional societies and integral projects

9. Russian experiences in solving conflicts of regional self-identification

10. Multipolarity of international relations in Eurasia: traditional centers of geopolitical influences and fight of new players for regional leadership

11. Internal and external politics of Eurasian countries: regional historical experiences and modern integral tendencies

12. New nations on the political map of Eurasia: experiences of national independence while fighting for international recognition

13. Cultural historical differences of Eurasian nations as a problematic factor

14. Ethnic and regional conflicts in the countries of Eurasia: search for civil agreement

15. Experiences of regional cooperation while solving religious problems in Eurasia

16. Law and order in Eurasian countries: tendencies of development and interpenetration

17. Transnational corporations as a factor of regional economical cooperation

18. Gender aspect, age and sex characteristics of the population in Eurasian countries: from past to present

19. Russian diaspora as a regional component in Eurasian countries: history of appearance, input into public political and social cultural history in the countries of stay, and the role of development of relations with historical motherland

20. Public political and economical scenarios of development in modern regions of Eurasia

21. Eurasia in a changing world: common and peculiar features in the development of the regions

22. Slavic world and world processes of integration

23. Peculiar path of Russia: view from the East and the West

24. Regional particularities of post soviet areas of Eurasia

25. Arabic revolutions as a way of showing the regional vector of development

26. Position and role of Central and South-Eastern Europe in the process of Eurasian integration

27. China and India as examples of regional progress in Eurasia

28. South-Asian region: perspectives and new tendencies of integration

29. Theoretical and methodological aspects of research of regional processes in Eurasia

In addition to sectional meetings during the VII Eurasian scientific forum, there will be international thematic panels in a form of «Round tables»:

· «Turkey: from Osman empire to centenary of Republic: History, modern problems and prognosis of development»

· Ukrainian crisis: internal and external factors

· Iran and its position in modern regional processes of Eurasia

· Afghanistan: the quest for a national consensus in the conditions of the withdrawal of the Western coalition

· Republic of Tatarstan in the XXI century: problems and perspectives of the republic’s participation in integral processes of Eurasia

· Caucasus: stabilization and difficulties of interregional integration
