Zavoisky Award

September 25, 2017 in the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences was organized the ceremony of awarding the International E.K. Zavoisky Award. This prize was awarded to Takedji Takui for his outstanding contribution to the development of high-spin molecular magnets and their studies by electron paramagnetic resonance.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences M.Kh. Salakhov, by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan E.N. Fattakhov, by the full member of the TAS, head of the KFU I.R. Gafurov, by the full member of the TAS K.M. Salikhov, etc. Scientists from Russia, the USA, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Israel, China, the delegation of Japanese colleagues Professor Takedji Takui and the representative of the Embassy of Japan in Russia also took part in the ceremony.

The ceremony of Zavoisky Award opened the Zavoisky Week in Kazan. Scientists from all over the world come to participate in the Week of Science.
