Born in 1946. Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1987), Professor (1992), Fellow of International Academy of Informatization (1995), Fellow of Russian Academy of Sciences (2000). Honored Scientist of the Republic of Tatarstan. Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Science and Technique (1997). Head of the Laboratory of the Chemistry of Oil at Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry of KSC RAS (since1981). Director of the TAS Center for Hard to Recover Oil Reservs and Natural Bitumen. Deputy Director General On Science at JSC "NIIneftepromkhim" (since 1998).
